We'll highlight recreation events, tryouts, exhibitions, games, tournaments, and festivals from our local recreation departments and groups!

Town of Middleton Summer Events

June 30th, 2018- Senior’s Bus Tour to the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. (10:30am-6:30-pm) Registration à http://www.discovermiddleton.ca/recregister/registration-links

July 20th, 2018- “Stronger Together” Fun Run. Registration is FREE and opens at 6:30pm in Centennial Park, Middleton. Run begins at 7:00pm! 

July 6th, 13th 20th, 27th & August 10th, 17th – Movies in the Park. FREE Friday night family movies in the park. Activities start at 8:00pm and the movie begins at Dusk. Centennial Park, Middleton. (In order “Moana”, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, “The Lego Movie”, “Rio 2”, Flashback Friday: “The Karate Kid” (1984), “Coco”)

August 1th, 2018- Annual Middleton Heart Run. 7:30am-1:00pm Rotary Raceway Park, Middleton. 5km, 10km, and 25km runs. 

August 12th, 2018- Heart of the Valley Century Ride. 7:30am-5:00pm Rotary Raceway Park, Middleton. 25km, 50km, 100km, and 160km rides.

Where: Windsor Community Center

When: June 7th @ 6:30pm-9:00pm

What: Day Camp, Preschool Soccer, Swimming Lessons registration and much more!

 

17th Annual 5k Run:

Where: Windsor Community Centre

Wet ‘n’ Wild and Avon River Family Fun Day:

Where: Elmcroft Park, Windsor

When: August 3rd @ 2:00pm-5:00pm

What: 2:00pm-4:00pm Wet ‘n’ Wild pool party at the Hants Aquatic Centre followed by a BBQ and various activities in Elmcroft Park from 4:00pm-5:00pm.

Cost: $4.00

 

Children's Parade:

Where: Windsor Community Centre

When: August 4th

Times: Face painting and balloons are available starting at 12:30pm in the Community Centre.

Line up: 1:00pm

Finish: Pick up at Howard Dill statue on Water Street

 

 

 

Avon River Days Mermaid Swim

Where: Hants Aquatic Centre

When: August 4th

Time: 2:30-3:30pm & 3:30-4:30pm

 

 

 

14th Annual Kids Triathlon:

When: August 12th

Time: 8:30am

Where: Windsor Community Centre/Hants Aquatic Centre
